Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Change of date:
Due to circumstances beyond our control we have changed the date of our Year 6 Leavers' Assembly and the school summer disco. These events will now take place on Wednesday 17th of July. We will confirm times closer to the date.
Good afternoon, I appreciate that parents and carers may have quetions regarding our visit to Heatherton on Wednesday. Hopefully, in this message I will be able to answer any queries.
- we aim to leave Greenhill at 8 am. Please bring children to school at 7:45am to allow us time to register them and ensure that they have been to the toilet
- at the end of the day we will leave Heatherton at 3pm, hopefully arriving bvack at school at approximately 5pm-5:30pm.
- children do not need to wear school uniform. However, please be aware of the weather forecast and dress children accordingly
- footwear: we have been informed that children will not be allowed to participate in some activities if they are wearing open-toe sandals or Crocs. Children need to wear trainers or shoes

Dear parents/guardians
As you are aware, tomorrow (June 7th) we hope to hold our annual Sports Day. This is obviously weather-dependent and we will make a decision early tomorrow depending on the conditions.
The timings for the day are:
Infants: 9:30
Juniors 13:30
Please make sure your child is wearing appropriate footwear, NO JEWELLERY and log hair is tied back. I know you have also been contacted by their class teacher regarding wearing clothes in their house colours if possible. If it is warm, please make sure your child is wearing sunscreen and a hat, and has their shoulders covered.
Please remember: Parents are not permitted to cross the track; you must stay behind the cordoned area.
We know it is lovely to see your child but please do not call them to you. The teachers and teaching assistants need to know where all our children are to keep them safe.
We are aware some of our younger children may become upset and want to sit with you. However, once one child does this, it can have quite a knock-on effect and several children may then want to sit with their parents/ carers which would be unmanageable.
School staff will take children to the toilet. The toilets will not be open for public use.
We are looking forward to a wonderful day. We have talked with the children about the importance of good sportsmanship and that taking part is what matters - they are all very excited.
Thank you for your continued support.

Our soldier silouhette is decorated ready for our memorial service tomorrow. Please join us at 9.30am for a 2 minute silence and short service. We will then go into the hall for refreshments.
