  • Letters from School - we are going paperless (almost)!

    Wed 30 Jun 2021 S Holloway

Good afternoon, following feedback from parents and carers we are changing the way that we send letters out. The majority of people who responded to our survey identified text messaging as the preferred method of communication. This is great for short messages but obviously becomes problematic for longer letters. Therefore, we will use the text service to send out links to the letters; this will ensure that no letters get lost on the way home, left in school or shoved to the bottom of a school bag never to be seen again!

I have created a short help video and shared it on SeeSaw.

    Thank you, Stuart Holloway

    Good afternoon

A little note to say we break up for the Summer holidays on Friday 16th July as we have two inset days on Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th.

All have a fab time during the holidays!

    Good afternoon all

I am informing you that the next Free School Meal deliveries will take place from Monday 5th July to Friday 16th July to children entitled to free school meals in readiness for the Summer holidays.

Each child who has registered for the delivery service will receive a 6 week meal pack, this includes, frozen, dried and fresh food products.

CCBC also offers a collection service if delivery is not suitable.  To arrange collection the parent needs to email catering@caerphilly.gov.uk or call 01443 864055

    Kind regards

    Mrs Janet Davies

The PDG Access for academic year 2020/2021 will close be closing shortly.  The deadline for submitting claims to the Schools is Wednesday 30th June 2021.

PDG Access 2021/2022 –  We are awaiting information from Welsh Government with regards to the eligibility year groups for September 2021.  We assume that the eligibility will revert back to the original year groups of Reception and Year 3 in Primary, and Year 7 and 10 in Secondary until we have received the confirmed year groups.  The process of application is planned to be available from 1st August 2021, and will be an on-line form which can be accessed via the Caerphilly Website. Further information regarding this will be published on the Caerphilly website mid-July 2021.
