Shwmae Dosbarth Melyn!
We have an exciting and interesting topic to share with you this term.
This term we will be learning all about 'Jobs and Transport'. We will be looking at jobs such as a Vet, Astronaut and finding out about other jobs in our local area. We will be looking at different transport methods such as a bus, airplane and train. We will be reading lots of stories, such as 'Magic train ride', 'The naughty bus', The Hundred-Decker bus' and 'Violet the Pilot'.
In Science we are going to be learning about sound and will be creating our own cup phone.
We will also be learning about special events such as Dydd Santes Dwynwen and retelling the story. We will be learning about Chinese New Year and be completing lots of creative activities such as creating red envelopes and dragons. Dosbarth Melyn will be going outside and using nature to create dragons, learning a Dragon dance in PE and also trying Chinese food. We will also be learning about Safer Internet Day, Ramadan, St David's Day and Shrove Tuesday.
We will be completing lots of activities in our continuous areas.
