Autumn Term
Hi Gold Class, this term we are learning about the big wide world and space!
We start our topic with the story 'Day monkey Night Monkey' where we will be exploring animals that come out in the day time and night time and our daily routines. Then we are astronauts with our story 'Astrogirl' where we will be making rockets, edible and non edible, counting from 5 as we blast off into space where we will be meeting our 'aliens who love underpants' where we will be designing our own pants and looking to see what is in the night sky.
We will also do lots of other exciting things in Gold Class, as you know we like to keep fit and and use our brains and bodies together to solve problems. Working together can be difficult for us but we try hard and follow Attention Autism activities and play lots of games together. We are also beginning to look at our emotions and how we can begin to regulate them so we can do our best and when we are not so in control we can find ways of regulating them.
